I started in recruitment with no idea what recruitment was if I am honest, as soon as I understood the fundamentals I was hooked! My journey was not streamlined, I have had to work hard & it took a lot of persistence & resilience in the beginning which is something I now look for in new recruits. Working for over a decade in the industry my sector has probably seen the most changes throughout the years & being part of a bigger group has enabled us to adapt where required. My sector is generally more fast paced & high intensity which I really enjoy as the atmosphere in the office can be electric at times, the competition is real!. I treat the office as I would my football team, we are a team, we win together & celebrate each others success.

My favourite thing about Talent 27 is the opportunity that we offer. Someone with no qualifications, no recruitment experience, through hard work, determination and learning can becomes a top performer in the business, within a relatively short period of time.

After working in recruitment for over a decade I still get a huge amount of satisfaction. I really enjoy constantly dealing with new challenges & watching the atmosphere suddenly elevate in the office when deals start flying in, especially on a Friday where all the hard work during the week comes to head! I’m known for being the “positive one” (for most of the time), & truly believe this is a fundamental attribute to achieving in this industry. It is tough to succeed & there’s lots of ups & downs, but staying positive & focussed on your goal are key. I enjoy being part of a culture that is so free from the sales environments of old, wellbeing & support is paramount in Talent 27, together with the collective identity of hard working & humble employees makes it a culture I love being a part of.

What I look for in new team members:
An honest hunger to succeed, a relentless work ethic, a desire to learn & a humble attitude. Someone who is resilient & will keep pushing to achieve their goal regardless of hurdles they face. Someone who wants to be part of a team but also wants to be individually brilliant. Someone who doesn’t take themselves too seriously & always sees the cup as half full.

Having lived in UAE, USA & the Philippines, I grew up in an international school environment & have a front row insight into the international sector. I love the challenge of sending people abroad to places they have never been & sharing their experiences in a new school.
International Education can be tricky with a lot of moving parts but is also extremely rewarding when everything comes together! Our environment at T27 gives everybody the opportunity to work in their own way & encourages us to root for one another regardless of what sector you work for.
I speak 3 languages, food-obsessed & known to be “the feeder” of the office.

Goal for 2025:
To make international bigger and better than last year! I want to help our current consultants grow into standout recruiters while also welcoming and nurturing new talent into our amazing team.
We have now placed a teacher in every continent possible (not Antarctica unfortunately) so now striving for a teacher in every country.
Prior to moving to T27 in the summer of 2022 I had nearly 9 years of recruitment experience & still enjoy the buzz of being in the office around other consultants. I am a big advocate of working hard & believe it’s the best way to get results.
As a team leader my goal is to help other consultants achieve their goals both inside & outside of work.

Now 10 years in the industry, it's been a rollercoaster of a ride, and I would do it all over again! Recruitment has given me the opportunity to be myself and it's a career that has no limits and worth the hard work.

Started recruitment 4 years ago & never looked back. Made some friends for life along the way & been able to grow as an individual day by day. The job has created opportunities I never thought I would have. Every day is different & the office environment is class.
As a team leader my goal is to help the team develop themselves into great consultants & top billers. There is no point in one person being successful & not the team.

Social side of work, we work hard but we also get to enjoy ourselves. We have all made friends for life and every day, even though it can be hard and stressful is a fun day at work. Not many workplaces offer you this but T27 do!
What I look for in new team members:
Recruitment is all about what you put in; you get back. Individuals who focus on themselves and can maintain self-motivation, perseverance and are resilient. There are many bad days but it's all about how you bounce back and keep going. Don’t let one little thing ruin your week

Favourite thing about T27: Having met with everyone at Talent 27, I would say my favourite things is how fantastic everyone is and I think it’s great how everyone brings their own unique personalities & skills to the table.

Talent 27 has given me a career to be really proud of, it has given me the opportunity to grow as a person professionally and personally which I’m really grateful for. I’m also grateful to have been with the company since its earlier stages, seeing it grow and continue to grow almost month by month! I’ve made some lifelong friends through the company and work along the way who I value massively and which I feel is really important, because if you’re working with people and seeing them all the time you want to be with good people and that’s why our culture and who is on our team is so important to us, I see that and really like that.
What I look for in new team members:
Personality traits that align with our culture, dedicated, hardworking, and a team player. Ego’s left at the door and an open mindedness and willingness to learn is an absolute essential. In recruitment you don’t need to be academic, you just need to have the discipline, resilience and determination to keep coming back for more when it inevitably gets tough (especially at the start) and that’s 100% what I look for in new recruits, success leaves clues and the T27 top billers all have these traits!

"If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, & become more, you are a leader." Whilst titles confirm leadership, they don't bestow it, so I am not one for a job title! I believe your actions will define you, there is no reason an associate cannot beat a senior here. I began my recruitment journey in 2008 at 22. Nothing is ever as hard as it is when you start & I definitely cried in my first week! it took hard work & to be honest sacrifice, missing out on friends' birthdays, holidays, travelling etc to get to the top but I enjoyed the autonomy & competitiveness & still do. Being a male dominated industry I also had a point to prove! We wouldn't ask you to do anything we wouldn't do here- including taking out the bins! & that is how we are at T27 one team. Recruitment is no one's "dream job" but it can give you the freedom to have a "dream life" & it can be a lot of fun along the way! I personally value the freedom & independence it gives & hope to inspire others in any capacity because if I can do it, you certainly can. My role now is a lot of decision making, always with you & the growth of the business in mind. We want a structure that enables you to achieve success quickly & provides a working environment that both challenges & supports you whilst remaining fun! After all, we spend most of our life at work! You will often find me floating about the offices, my advice to anyone, look for opportunities to lead, don’t wait for someone to bring them to you. What needs to be done in the business? What problems need solutions? What opportunities could be seized? What could be improved? Initiative is a pre-requisite to effective influence. Look around. Pay attention. Get involved. There are no boardrooms or glass doors, have an idea or thought - tell us!
